Print & Web Designer

Position Overview:Leading public affairs firm seeks a detail-oriented Print & Web Designer to lead the in-house creative. The ideal candidate will be able to design engaging print and digital materials tailored to complex policy issues and stakeholder communications. You would play a key role in crafting visually compelling content that supports and enhances strategy and public outreach. Web design skills are key for this role.Key Responsibilities:Design and produce high-quality print materials such as fact sheets, policy briefs, annual reports, and promotional materials.Design and produce digital content such as digital advertising and social media campaigns.Create visually appealing web designs for our website and digital advocacy platforms. (There is an in-house developer on staff)Develop and maintain design templates for consistent branding and messaging in public affairs and government relations contexts.Collaborate with policy experts, communication strategists, and stakeholders to translate complex information into clear, accessible visual content.Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and various client brand standards.Provide design support for in-house event materials, presentations, proposals, and other ad-hoc projects as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.1-3 years of experience in print and web design, preferably with a focus on public affairs, government relations, or similar sectors.Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in both print and digital design.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and web design tools (Figma).Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and familiarity with content management systems (CMS) is a plus. (Drupal and Wordpress preferred)Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and engaging manner.Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Salary & Benefits:Salary is commensurate with experience and skill set.
