Job Description:

The position requires performing numerical analysis for our consulting clients supporting multiple industry applications, specifically in the High Tech and Energy sectors. The candidate should have a strong background in design engineering, manufacturing, mechanics of materials, and solid mechanics, along with a good understanding of thermal, structural, dynamic loading conditions, and failure mechanisms. Extensive experience in 3D and 2D CAD is required, and proficiency with the NX software package is essential. To be successful, the candidate must possess a strong academic background (minimum Masters), keen engineering judgment, analytical and logical reasoning skills, excellent communication skills, and a 'CAN DO' attitude. This is a critical role for our organization as we strive to be best in class in technical offerings and client satisfaction. Essential Functions:

Help execute consulting services projects with minimal supervision.

Strong grasp of product design engineering.

Create and document design models.

Evaluate and interpret the product design using proper engineering judgment.

Conduct experimental testing.

Follow the project's schedule and issue deliverables on time without compromising work quality.

Be responsible for the reliability of all generated information provided to the client.

Report results with objective, detailed, articulated communication.

Follow company QA and confidentiality procedures for technical engagements.

Strong engineering background, including knowledge of solid mechanics, mechanics of materials, and manufacturing.

Expert level proficiency in 3D and 2D CAD.

Required Education and Experience:

BS/M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 4-8 years of industry experience.

Technical expertise in design, tolerance analysis, design optimization, manufacturing, mechanical, and structural analysis.

Excellent understanding of the fundamentals of mechanics of materials, solid mechanics, and manufacturing.

Experience in the High Tech and Energy Industry.

Attention to detail and commitment to verification and validation.

Solid experience with NX CAD software.
