Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Litigation Attorney with 1-4 years of experience to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in litigation procedures, excellent research and writing skills, and a passion for advocacy. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in all phases of litigation, including pre-trial preparation, discovery, motion practice, and trial support.
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
Participate in client meetings, depositions, hearings, and trials.
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and manage case files.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Stay current with developments in the law and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal practices.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
1-4 years of litigation experience, preferably in port litigation, trial work, insurance coverage, CVA cases, medical malpractice, or asbestos litigation.
Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
Excellent oral advocacy and interpersonal communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
