As a Cloud Service Provider (CSP) Field Application Engineer for Lenovo, you will be a part of a fast-paced, high-profile team helping to define what’s next. We are seeking an experienced engineer to support our NextWave hyperscale datacenter customers and drive sales of our products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in datacenter infrastructure and a proven history of success in sales.Key Responsibilities:Work closely with Lenovo Account Executives & Inside Sales Reps supplying technical opportunity management & working with customer engineersStay up to date on industry trends and developments in the hyperscale datacenter marketPerform training and education to customers on our products and servicesDevelop deep technical relationships with our customers to serve as a trusted consultantWork closely with our engineering teams to develop & deliver customized customer solutionsAssist the Sales team in developing a sales strategy for winning new accountsAssist customers with defining and completing POCs to showcase Lenovo technologiesWork with product engineering and customers to collect requirements and drive future technology decisions within LenovoAct as technical advocate for customers within Lenovo and ensure industry leading customer experienceAchieve revenue and profitability goals for Lenovo by driving sales with key customersBasic Requirements:BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field7+ years of successful technology sales requiredPreferred Requirements:Excellent communication and presentation skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical abilitiesDeep knowledge of x86 computing, storage and GPU technology trendsStrong understanding of datacenter infrastructure, including networking, storage, & computingProven ability to develop strategies to penetrate and sell to large companiesTravel to any or all customer sites when appropriateDemonstrated history of top performance with multi-million-dollar quotasIf you are enthusiastic about technology and customer service and want to work with the latest datacenter products and services, we want to hear from you!We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.
