Responsibilities:
Design/Drafting and maintain component and assembly product definition by preparing design layouts and drawings, modifying existing designs and resolving design discrepanciesExperience designing and managing large CAD assemblies and associated drawingsDemonstrated development, packaging, and configuration management experience on technically complex hardware productsApply relevant company, industry (design, drafting, parts) techniques to plan, lay-out, and maintain data depicting engineering designs (detail, assembly and installation drawings)Fundamental knowledge of mechanical engineering design, analysis, manufacturing, and testingSelf-prioritize and self-schedule work activity in support of the teamAssist in the development and deployment of reasonable standards for drafting.Support drafting standards checking and training for the team.Qualifications:
5+ years of experience designing/drafting structural parts, precision components, and/or subsystemsStrong interpersonal, communication and project management skillsProficiency in NX Routing, tubing, sheet Metal, and mechanismsExperience with mechanical and weldment design and component integrationExperience creating and maintaining layouts; ability to work on multiple projects in parallelStrong work ethic with a high attention to detail and level of organizationExtensive knowledge of precision machined component design and manufacturingExperience managing large CAD assemblies and associated drawingsExtensive experience and knowledge of ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and ToleranceMust be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. US Person.
