Position Purpose:

The Director of Product Development unifies the product development processes for all ministry products. The Product Development team will own the products from concept to production, filling in any gaps between departments. The Director of Product Development is responsible for proactively developing a product roadmap that ensures a standard of excellence for all of Andrew Wommack Ministries teachings and legacy products. These include, but are not limited to booklets, books, study guides, CDs, DVDs, University series products, and Biblical Worldview series products. The Director of Product Development has the authority to allocate resources to meet ministry goals and objectives.

Essential Duties:

Proactively coordinate, communicate, and work with other departments within AWM, Charis, and Gospel Truth Network (GTN) to achieve desired results.

Establish strategic partnerships with suppliers, manufacturers, and other industry experts to develop new products or improve existing products.

Develop a product roadmap with specific goals and milestones that align with the organizations strategic objectives.

Develop, mentor, lead, and direct the Product Development department to include project management, product research, content creation, and updating existing products as needed.

Design and optimize product development processes.

Oversee and implement product development policies, objectives, and initiatives.

Guide and direct all product development for new products, product enhancements, and product redesign.

Provide feedback to leaders concerning timelines and various risks related to each new and different product.

Manage a team of writers, editors, designers, and other staff to develop new products.

Create business cases for new products based on research and market analysis.

Manage the development of new products from concept to production.

Conduct market research to identify new product opportunities that meet customer needs.

Review and approve product development requests, consulting with management upline when appropriate.

Provide executive summary, goals, priorities, and updates; discuss and establish priorities.

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Demonstrated performance in strategic goal setting and planning.

Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Strong interpersonal skills and leadership skills with a team focus.

An analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.

Able to manage, train, and effectively lead in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines.

Knowledge of Power BI, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite programs, and project management systems.

Requirements:

Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Must sign the Statement of Faith.

A high school diploma or equivalent education is required.

Bachelor's degree is recommended.

Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred.

Must pass all required checks.

Experience:

3-5 years of leadership experience with the ability to motivate and provide professional development to a team of 3 or more direct reports.

Project management experience is required.

Demonstrated ability to effectively establish new teams, processes, and systems is required.

Compensation commensurate with experience.
