Digital Strategies DirectorAbout ZETA:Gen-Z Emerging Technology Action (ZETA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Generation Z in the technology and digital space. We unite, empower, and mobilize Gen-Z through initiatives focused on Economic Opportunities in the Digital Economy, AI as a Positive Tool, Healthy Online Communities, Tech & Digital Literacy, Expanding Digital Access, and Tech Policy Decision-Making. Our programs – the ZETA Leadership Network, ZETA Digital Roundtables, and ZETA Policy and Advocacy Program – provide platforms for young people to shape the future of tech and digital policy.Position Overview:We are seeking a creative and passionate TikTok Content Creator Intern to help grow our TikTok presence and drive engagement with the ZETA Leadership Network. As a TikTok Content Creator Intern, you will develop and execute content strategies that resonate with our target audience, highlight our mission, and inspire Gen-Z to join our movement. This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic about creating innovative content, following TikTok trends, and is passionate about technology and social impact.Key Responsibilities:Develop, edit, and publish original TikTok videos that align with ZETA's mission and campaign areas, aiming to attract new followers, boost engagement, and increase interest in the ZETA Leadership Network.Stay up-to-date with the latest TikTok trends, challenges, and popular content formats to craft a unique and authentic voice for ZETA on the platform.Collaborate with the Digital Strategies Director to build a content calendar, brainstorm fresh ideas, and adapt to the ever-changing TikTok landscape.Engage with the TikTok community by interacting with followers, responding to comments, and utilizing platform features like duets and challenges.Assist in amplifying TikTok content across other platforms such as Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts to enhance ZETA's overall digital presence.Qualifications:Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program (Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, or related fields preferred).Demonstrated experience creating TikTok/Reels content, with a portfolio or examples of past work.Strong passion for technology, social impact, and the empowerment of Gen-Z voices.Interest in tech policy and addressing growing trends in technologyProficient understanding of TikTok trends, features, and best practices.Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to craft engaging short-form content.Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.Benefits:Hands-on experience in social media strategy, content creation, and digital marketing within a mission-driven organization.Mentorship and professional development opportunities from experienced nonprofit and tech professionals.Opportunity to be part of a dynamic Gen-Z-led movement focused on shaping the future of technology.Flexible hours and a supportive, remote work environmentHow to Apply:Please submit your resume, a brief cover letter, and examples of TikTok content you’ve created to lucas@gen-zeta.org.
