Supermicro is seeking a Staff Solution Manager who can help sales to grow business in different vertical markets in the US, set up an ecosystem with different suppliers, grow company business with different sales teams, and directly engage with customers to provide solutions to end-users. As a Staff Solution Manager, you will use strong technical and communication skills towards product definition strategy for Supermicro's core product family including research into vertical-based customer solutions and creation of aggressive go-to-market strategies.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with customers for system design, ASIC selection, and root cause analysis of software/hardware issues.Act as the primary point of contact for networking integration projects, ensuring efficient and timely execution.Develop and manage embedded diagnostic software for system bring-up and component verification.Optimize network protocols to improve overall system performance.Conduct regular network assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement corrective measures.Participate in cross-functional team meetings to define hardware/firmware test targets, processes, and milestones.Design and implement production test procedures and tools for networking hardware.Qualifications:

15+ years of experience in network embedded software engineering, hardware testing, and troubleshooting.Proficiency in programming languages such as C, TCL, Bash, and Expect.In-depth knowledge of Ethernet L2/L3 protocols and switching chips (Cisco, Broadcom, Marvell…).Experience with CPUs (Intel X86, PPC, ARM) and peripheral buses (PCI-E, I2C, PMBUS, SMBUS, SPI, GPIO).Proficient in operating systems like Linux, QNX, and VxWorks.Familiarity with development tools such as Git, Docker, Jenkins, GNU, and Bazel.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex technical issues.Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with experience working in cross-functional and global teams.Please note that this position requires regular in-office attendance. The successful candidate is expected to be present in the office during standard working hours as determined by the company. In-office collaboration and participation in team meetings, training sessions, and other on-site activities are essential aspects of this role. Candidates should consider the commuting distance and be prepared to fulfill their responsibilities in the designated office location.Salary Range

132132-173454The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
