Come grow with us!Job Description:The Cybersecurity Senior Consultant will be responsible for being a contributing team member on IT Consulting, IT Risk Assessments, IT Internal Audits, Cybersecurity assessments, segregation of duties (SOD), implementation reviews, IT SOX, and similar engagements.Typical Senior Consultant responsibilities include:Generate innovative ideas and challenge the status quoPresent creative and logical solutions to identified problemsProvide technical guidance to Crowe staff and client organization personnelIdentify and evaluate business and technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvementParticipate in planning and implementing of client information systems, including structure, process, and securityConsult with clients to understand and address their needsCommunicate issues and status to Crowe and Client senior managementOversee the work of junior level personnelAssist with the development and quality assurance of key internal audit deliverablesEducational and Professional Credentials:Bachelor's degree required. Major in Accounting, Computer Information Systems, or Management Information Systems is preferred.2+ years working in internal audit, consulting, assurance services, or related field, either in professional services or industry.Professional Certification or working toward CRISC, CISM, CPA, CIA, CISSP or CISA strongly preferred.Preferred Knowledge and Skills:Emerging trends in information technology, privacy, and cybersecurityUnderstanding of commonly used internal control frameworks, including COSO and COBIT and knowledge of audit methodologies and developing key internal audit deliverablesWorking experience with IT general controls, IT application controls and key report testing is requiredTechnical knowledge in any of the following (SAP, Oracle Financials, PeopleSoft, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, WorkDay, JDE; Operating Systems and Databases such as Windows, SQL, iSeries, UNIX, LINUX; Cloud, AWS, Azure)Technical skills in ERP security administration, configuration controls, application controls, report baselining, interface reviews, configuration reviews or system implementations would be highly desirableProject management and supervisory experienceStrong interpersonal and communication skills to interact in a team environment and foster client relationshipsAbility to work both independently and in a team environment either onsite or at homeExcellent verbal, written, and presentation skills are required, with emphasis on communicating technical issues to nontechnical audiencesAbility to perform complex analyses of data and information and make recommendationsCapable of working in a demanding, deadline-driven environmentAbility to demonstrate an understanding of risks and controls in IT and business processes, and how to apply them to client situationsAbility to understand and assess compliance with range of contracts, laws, regulations, and policies and proceduresTravel Requirements: Up to 60%.
