The Demand & Retail Planning Manager will be responsible for creating retail sales plans by SKU for various retailers, considering market trends and customer demand.This role involves collaborating with sales and marketing teams to build forecasts for new product launches and adjusting forecasts post-launch as necessary.The manager will oversee all aspects of demand management, from new product forecast setup to ongoing monitoring and communication with the supply planning team.Tracking operating results, such as retailer fill rates, and proposing process improvements for optimal fulfillment methods will be part of the job.The candidate will participate in the annual budget and reforecast process with the Finance team, ensuring alignment across departments.The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or a related field.A minimum of 5 years of related experience in Supply Chain is required, with 3-5 years specifically in forecasting or demand planning in the Beauty or CPG industry preferred.Strong analytical skills are essential, as the candidate must be comfortable working with multiple sources of data to identify insights and solve problems.The successful candidate will possess expert knowledge in distribution and inventory management techniques, processes, and policies.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to react quickly to changes in demand and inventory are crucial for this role.The candidate should have strong organizational skills and attention to detail, enabling them to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.Building strong relationships and navigating cross-functional teams effectively will be key to success in this position.
