What you’ll do:ECM has an immediate opportunity for a Change Management Specialist position. Change Management is comprised of specialized skill sets including engagement, communication, and learning to ensure organizational readiness, acceptance, and adoption of large change initiatives. We are seeking a seasoned expert with extensive change management expertise.In this role you will apply deep expertise to lead large scale and complex change management efforts as part of prioritized business transformation efforts. The primary focus is on an integrated approach to the people side of change including plans that drive faster adoption of new processes, systems, organizational structures, and to reinforce Northern Trust’s organizational behaviors.In addition to providing hands-on support to change initiatives, this role will lead the development of standard change management methods, tools and templates that can be leveraged across the enterprise. This includes providing education on and driving adoption of change management, change communications, and/or change event training best practices. The goal is to establish and execute strategies to facilitate broad change management capability building and maintain a Center of Excellence that provides centralized access to thought leadership, best practices, research, support, and/or training.Major duties include:Demonstrate expertise in change management: stakeholder analysis, impact assessment, sponsorship and leadership alignment, communication planning and development, training needs analysis, evaluation, performance support, organization / job alignment, engagement, and/or partner readiness.Apply a structured approach and methodology for the people side of change across multiple large scale and global change projects

Assess change projects by identifying and analyzing key stakeholders, conduct change impact analyses to determine the scale, scope, and risk of the change and the degree of readiness of key stakeholders

Develop and manage change management plans that apply best practices and are delivered in collaboration with others

Lead communication efforts including the design, development, delivery, and management of communications

Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress to track adoption, utilization and proficiency related to changes

Lead Center of Excellence activities to build the organizational change muscle through partner and manager change training; knowledge transfer activities and advising on tools, resources, and best practices and continuous improvement via lessons learned

Demonstrate a strong change discipline to other members of the team through role modeling, mentoring and knowledge transfer.

Provide change management input to overarching program management processes and reporting

Support integration and connection of related change efforts across transformation programs

Required Qualifications:Ten years of experience in Change Management, Organizational Development / Effectiveness, or related field Experience leading the change management workstream for large, global, and complex programs / projects

Excellent communication (verbal and written) and active listening skills

Technical skills including (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, Forms) as well as SharePoint development and site ownership Proficiency in digital learning technologies (Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, Vyond, etc.) preferred

Understanding of program / project life cycle and experience with project management processes and tools

Prosci Change Management or Prosci Train-the-Trainer Certification, a plus

Financial Services industry experience, a plus
