JOB DESCRIPTIONUnder the supervision of the Property President, and indirectly the Sr. Vice President of Marketing, the incumbent will be responsible for all functions of marketing division including Casino Marketing, Special Events, Promotions, Advertising Public Relations, Direct Marketing and Database Marketing.

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.

Develop and execute marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, designed to attract Slot and Table games patrons.

Continually evaluate the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions.

Recommend changes in basic structure and organization of the marketing group to ensure the effective fulfillment of objectives assigned and provide the flexibility to move swiftly in relation to marketing problems and opportunities.

Advise Senior V.P. of Marketing of budgeting requirements, forecasts and overall operating effectiveness.

Responsible for the development and implementation of marketing policies, procedures and programs.

Assure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Develop department members’ knowledge and skills through education, training, coaching, corrective counseling, etc.

Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.

Conduct personal behavior and select, train, coach, counsel, appraise and retain direct reports who consistently perform actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication.

Demonstrate commitment to assisting in the development of Seminole Tribe members participating in the Tribal Career Development program and, when a Seminole Tribe member’s assignment falls within your direct area of responsibility, act as a personal mentor/career advisor to the Tribe Member and submit progress reports and information to the Director of Tribal Development.

Ensure prompt and discreet notification to appropriate management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.

Work closely with corporate database marketing team.

Ensure appropriate staffing levels to best manage labor costs while maintaining outstanding guest service.

Stay abreast of the current trends and practices within area of responsibility and communicate pertinent information to management, peers, direct reports and team members as appropriate.

Promote positive public/employee relations at all times.

Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required and at least seven (7) years experience in a marketing senior management role in a Casino resort environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree in a related field highly preferred.

Full resort experience preferred.

Solid track record in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies and the ability to lead a team in achievement of required objectives.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Ability to work long hours and flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experience.

Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals.

Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional demeanor.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to achieve desired results without compromising business relationships.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:The working conditions are those typically found in an indoor, climate controlled office environment. Will be exposed to casino related factors including but not limited to second hand smoke, excessive noise, large crowds and stress related to servicing guests in a high pressure and fast paced environment.

CLOSING:The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
