We are a flexible, high impact, and collaborative team working across a variety of topics and geographies. We advise International Leadership and Market C-Suite teams on critical initiatives by developing strategic frameworks, supporting business development initiatives, leading special projects, and creating executive and strategic presentations.Our team directly impacts the development and success of a Fortune 1, global company. Develop as a leader working alongside Walmart International’s Leadership Team who provide mentorship and support along the way!Director of International Strategy is a high visibility role with broad responsibilities, supporting key global and market strategies. You’ll have the opportunity to influence investments made across the international portfolio, explore new business opportunities, and develop relationships with Walmart leaders around the world.What you'll get to do:

Strategy DevelopmentLead research efforts, create in-depth insights, and develop business cases with clear prioritiesBuild strategic growth plans across geographies and retail servicesSimplify the complex and develop practical solutions to challengesDrive cross-functional projects; identify goals, success criteria, key assumptions; own discovery of project requirements through deep subject matter expertise, resource requirements, and timelinesDeliver tangible resultsInfluenceCollaborate with and influence partners across multiple geographies to achieve beneficial working relationships and positive outcomes across international marketsCreate trust and empathy to influence and promote outcomes without formal authorityBuild a cohesive narrative applying fact-based data and insights from multiple perspectivesCreate storylines to present in a clear, and meaningful way to senior executivesAnalyze financial statements; partner with finance, accounting, and M&A teamsWho we’re looking for:

We are looking for you!Master's degree in Business, International Business, Economics, Journalism, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or related field[6/8] years total experience with:

6+ years of experience leading strategy and finance teams6+ years of experience leading high-impact projects, preferably within retail or related industries

What sets you apart?Relevant experience at a management consulting firm, investment firm, and/or strategy in a multinational company analyzing international marketsAbility to cultivate C-level and functional VP business relationships of impeccable trust, confidence, and resultsAdditional languages are a plus!This role is based in Bentonville, AR with some travel in various markets.
