Job Responsibilities:Supervises and monitors non-standard systems production work.Oversees the activities of team and shift employees and supervisors within a department to ensure smooth and timely production schedules.Evaluates policies and procedures and recommends changes to maximize efficiency and service.Communicates and coordinates needed repairs, upgrades and maintenance.Works with systems personnel to resolve complex technical problems.Maintains security and ensures adherence to departmental goals, budgets and expectations.Participates in the evaluation of, and planning of staff within the area of responsibility.Supervises and schedules staff of employees.May perform other duties as assigned.

Attentive listener who carefully understands the needs of the community and responds proactively in a diplomatic, professional, and timely manner.Assist in leading and managing the AV team, including scheduling, training, and ensuring team members have the knowledge and resources they need to excel in their roles. Provide day-to-day supervision and technical guidance to AV technicians, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality AV services and support for classes, events, and other Law School activities.Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. A team player who can effectively communicate with a diverse user community, demonstrating collegiality, diplomacy, and respect. Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines with high accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-through on all duties.Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with experience troubleshooting and identifying issues with Apple and Windows devices, as well as their connectivity to the AV infrastructure. Additionally, a solid understanding of cloud storage platforms and proficiency in software like Microsoft Office 365, especially PowerPoint, are essential.Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously with competence and organization and equipped with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Capable of thriving in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Foster a collaborative and supportive environment.

Preferred Education:

Proven experience with audio/visual equipment, including Q-Sys, PA systems, projectors, LCD displays, Shure wireless microphone systems, and SDVoE, is required. Additionally, advanced knowledge and experience supporting Zoom, proficiency with Panopto and Adobe Creative Suite.
