This position serves as the overall Project Leader for the jobs in which they are involved. Responsibilities range from oversight/execution of: project set up, project buy out, contract execution and compliance, material and equipment procurement, daily progress tracking, project safety compliance, material and equipment invoice approval, manpower timesheet approval, responsible for project sequencing and scheduling, maintaining and updating schedules, coordination and communication with GC, extra work and change order distribution/tracking, coordination with Operation managers to secure adequate manpower, weekly cost report job forecasting, overall project fiscal responsibility.Specific Responsibilities:Contract/Scope review and execution.Project safety compliance.Job cost spread and estimate review.Project sequencing and scheduling.Project cost reporting.Invoice coding and approval.Change order request issuance/tracking.Coordination with GC/Owner.Coordination with CSI Operations manager regarding manpower/resources.Mentoring Project Managers and Project Engineers.Working with upper management to provide feedback and continue to develop company operation procedures and policies.Ability to identify, assimilate and comprehend the critical elements of a situation to extract and interpret implications of courses of actions to attend to details of a problem.Effectiveness in planning and controlling work, motivating and developing subordinates, improving work methods and results, encouraging and supporting suggestions for work improvements.Operates within the organization's formal and informal structures, builds allies and relationships across departments, uses allies to build consensus and create results, is appropriately diplomatic, understands others' roles and perspectives, can sell projects and ideas across the organization.Anticipates and resolves conflicts, turns team diversity into an advantage, uses unique team talents, defines processes and goals, works for consensus.Establishes project goals, milestones, and procedures, defines roles and responsibilities, acquires project resources, coordinates projects throughout the company, monitors project progress, and manages multiple projects.Education/Experience/Attributes/Requirements:10+ years of experience.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering recommended.Strong knowledge of construction principles/practices required.Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals.Experience running large self-perform concrete projects with successful outcomes.Project set up, budget planning, buy out, and cost reporting experience is a must.Exceptional understanding of critical path scheduling for self-perform work.Experience leading successful project teams, including development of employees and maintaining relationships with external entities.Energetic and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency.Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work equally well on own as well as in a team environment.Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi-floor scaffolding.Teamwork.Creativity.Results.Leadership.Courage.Sense of Urgency.The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
