Program Director , you'll play a pivotal role in providing progressive and goal-oriented supports to individuals with developmental disabilities in the community. You'll have the opportunity to lead with compassion, creativity, and dedication, ensuring that our programs meet the unique needs of each individual.WHAT DUNGARVIN OFFERS:Starting Salary: $66,600 and is an exempt roleMonday - Friday Schedule, No Holidays, Weekends or Evenings!Medical, Dental and vision for eligible full-time employeesSupplementary insurance, FSA and HSAFREE Life Insurance & Long-term DisabilityEmployee Assistance Program401 K plan with a 3% employer match based on eligibility requirementsMileage reimbursementJob mobility options within Dungarvin's 15 states of servicesPTO that accrues with tenurePet Insurance availableDiscount on your personal Verizon monthly bill; among other national discount programsPayActiv – Access 50% of your wages before pay dayWHAT YOU WILL DO:The Program Director will help create a lasting positive impact on people's lives by leading a team of Direct Support Professionals who coach, mentor, and encourage others to reach their goalsEnsure meaningful community integration activities for the people we serveDevelopment of Individual Service Plans (ISP) and the coordination of behavioral supports.Oversight of all Day Program operations including developing and monitoring quality services, budgets and financial responsibilities, facility, and fleet managementTraining and supervision of staffCompliance with regulations, policies, and proceduresCollaboration with stakeholders and regulators, including families, residential providers, Harbor Regional Center, and Community Care LicensingQualificationsCandidates must have:A sincere belief that any person can benefit from the experiences and encouragement to integrate into the local community, with supports to live as independently as possibleA commitment to leadership that fosters a culture of mutual respect among the team of employeesREQUIRED:3 years’ experience in a human services delivery system working with individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilitiesAt least 1 year in a management or supervisory position OR 2 years of experience or training in one of the following:

Care and supervision of individuals served in a licensed adult day program or an adult day health care facilityCare and supervision of one or more of the categories of persons to be served by the day program

Valid driver's license with acceptable driving recordPass criminal background check FBI/DOJPhysician's clearance and TB test clearanceAble to lift/transfer up to 50 poundsPREFERRED:Bachelor's degree in human services field (Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Allied Health, Educational Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, etc.)Experience working with Regional Centers, Community Care Licensing and knowledge of Title 22 and Title 17 regulations.Experience working in Day Programs for adults living with disabilities.HOURS:Full-time exempt position (40 hours per week).Schedule must have flexibility to accommodate program, individual, and staff needs.Additional InformationDungarvin believes that diversity and inclusion make our organization stronger.
