As a Proposal Specialist, you will support the Sr. Proposal & Pursuit Manager with development of proposals to contractors, engineers, and owners. We are looking for a goal-oriented, proactive, organized, enthusiastic team player with outstanding communication, time management, and interpersonal skills to join us. You will be joining a team that focuses heavily on consistent processes and collaboration to deliver outstanding quality work and client service.Essential Functions:Coordinating and creating proposals that clearly demonstrate that the Structural Group family of companies is uniquely positioned to deliver significant benefits to our clients' infrastructure repair and upgrade projectsParticipating in all phases of proposal development for SOQs, RFQs, RFPs, and client deliverables, as requiredOrganizing, attending, and leading strategy calls with key stakeholders across our organizationFacilitating and coordinating proposal development with multiple disciplines including operations, engineering, technical subject-matter-experts, A/E consultant and contracting teaming partnersCompiling proposal outlines, compliance/responsibility matrices and schedules, assigning and assuming responsibilities, as well as directing and managing proposal reviews to meet submittal deadlinesSupporting narrative development including but not limited to creation, editing, and proof reading to fully address the requirements of the RFP and needs of the clientProactively supporting content development for upstream major pursuits alongside active proposal due datesDeveloping proposal, case study, and resume templatesCreating compelling infographics and adding strategic images to proposals

* Managing archiving proposal elements and company data-including but not limited to maintaining, developing, and updating internal information including resumes, project descriptions, boilerplate narratives, graphics, and templatesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or Marketing5+ years of combined experience working in proposal development in the architecture, engineering and construction (A/E/C) environment preferredExperience with Federal proposals and pursuits is preferredSelf-driven with an ability to work independently alongside business development and operational team membersDesire to learn, accept oversight and input from colleagues and supervisorHigh Proficiency in MS Office SuiteIntermediate skills with Adobe Creative SuiteExperience with Salesforce or other CRM systems
