Windsor Troy is a civil litigation firm that focuses on plaintiff's side personal injury and school/government liability cases. We are looking for a highly motivated trial attorney to take on a heavy load of trials coming up. The right candidate should have a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience and be able to handle a large volume of files, meet deadlines, create litigation plans, conduct discovery while maintaining exceptional client interaction. Fluency in Spanish is a major plus. Applicants should have strong organizational skills, want responsibility, enjoy trial work, and have good people skills. Applicants should also be a team player and have a strong desire to zealously advocate on behalf of their clients. The right attorney will have compassion and understanding for the clients they are working with. They will also have integrity and excellence for the work they will be doing for the firm. Must be able to adhere to the firm's core values and have strong, long-lasting client relationships. You will report directly to our Lead Attorney.Responsibilities
Day-to-day handling of cases from filing of the complaint to trialProvide guidance and lead the litigation teamTaking depositions of parties, witnesses, and expertsReviewing drafted documents from staff and associatesTrial preparation and strategyPrepare and strategize Motions in Limine and associated trial documentsJury trials as First and 2nd chairPost-trial motionsProvide legal opinions to clientsRequirements
Candidate should have a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experienceMinimum 3-5 trial experience as first chairActive member in good standing with the California State BarMinimum of 5 years of Personal injury litigation experienceBe able to work under strict deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environmentStrong legal research and analysisLaw and motion experienceWell organized and detail orientedSalary: Up to $175,000.00Here at Windsor Troy,
