The Sr. Email Marketing Specialist will report to the Marketing Manager. This role will split time between strategy and execution of Email, SMS, PUSH, and Onsite Promotional areas. The key responsibilities include managing and executing the promotional calendar while strategically optimizing and managing marketing initiatives, continually improving the automated trigger program, compiling regular reporting and analysis, and managing team priorities. This role will span the websites AmericanMuscle.com, ExtremeTerrain.com, AmericanTrucks.com, Ecklers.com, Gearhead.com, and AutoAnything.com.

Year 1 is going to be about:

Manage and independently execute the promotional calendar across all businesses, including in-house and vendor funded promotions.Recommend initial draft of promotional strategy ideas and implement them accordingly.

Strategize Email, SMS, PUSH and Onsite copy, subject lines, sender names, pre-headers, and other A/B tests to optimize each channel.

Propose and run A/B tests. Report on results and oversee the implementation of successful tests into the specific marketing channel.

Devise and run ongoing tests to improve automated trigger messages, keeping key performance indicators top of mind.

Plan and build new Email, SMS, and PUSH automations.

Coordinate any changes needed to Transactional messages. Compile Email, SMS, and PUSH performance monthly and strategize next month’s calendar based on learnings.

Partner with the Creative Team to optimize email design and layout.

Oversee the production process for retention marketing channels, including Onsite, Email, Push, and SMS,

Manage Ad Hoc marketing requests from teams including Customer Service, Social, IT, Product Data, and Video

Lead the Marketing Sweepstakes process to drive new name acquisition.

Manage multiple projects while contributing to other direct response marketing efforts including strategy and brainstorming.Make decisions on how the team will move forward with projects and campaign efforts.

Managing team projects, including organizing and prioritizing the team’s workload to ensure timely completion of all projects.

We can’t skip over some of the specific skills and experience we know are a “must” to be successful.

So, we need you to have:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or business, or an equivalent amount of experience and education.

4-6 years of Ecommerce Marketing experience

Experience working with an Email Service Provider (ESP).

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
