HTC Global Services, Inc. has an opening for the position of QA Consultant (Ref# QC95AK).
Work Location: Troy, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Job Duties: Under direct supervision, conduct quality assurance and testing analysis of applications in diverse business and technical environments. Involved in the complete testing life-cycle of projects. Identify client requirements by detailed discussions/meetings with client, functional users. functional/technical consultants, and product owners to collect requirement specifications, metrics, and key performance indicators. Review system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested change is possible within existing system. Analyze business problems in the existing system by collaborating with end users. Review design ideas and prototype with product owners and development team. Review the technical design specifications. Prepare flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate the software architecture that meets client's requirements in an effective and cost-efficient manner. Review requirements specifications and prototype with users. Perform proactive health checks on client applications. Prepare various test deliverables including test plan, test cases, and test summary reports. Review the code developed by the team members and develop JUnit test cases. Prepare test plan based on the system requirements specification. Test applications against the system requirements and specifications. Write automated test scripts using TOSCA. Prepare test data as per the client requirements. Create and enhance automation test scripts for all applications using TOSCA. Inspect test results for accuracy and completeness. Participate in defect meetings with client partners for fixing the issues. Maintain the application once it is moved to production. Provide application technical support and maintenance activities for enhanced system functionality. Use of TOSCA, Selenium, SoapUI, Java, AWS, SQL Server, DB2, UNIX/Linux, and Windows.
Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Test Analyst, Test Lead, or related experience. Position requires 1 year of experience with TOSCA, Selenium, and Java. 40hrs/week.
