Cole Engineering Services (a By Light Company) is seeking a highly motivated mid-level software developer to implement design solutions in a rapid and agile manner and to identify, diagnose, and implement innovative solutions to solve software defects, as appropriate.Required Experience/Qualifications
Minimum 6+ years software development experience using C++
Strong object-oriented development background.Familiar with industry software development standardsExperience in Linux/windows shell scripting.Ability to test/debug softwareMaintaining software using version control toolsAbility to work within a team and independently.Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering, computer science, systems or software engineering from an accredited college or university.Preferred Experience/Qualifications
DevOps experience.Experience with Industry best-practice software development and collaboration tools, such as JIRA and Confluence.Familiarity with software development standards and with the capabilities of related Department of Defense software systems.Knowledge of military simulation systems.
Special Requirements/Security Clearance
This is an onsite position at a CESI Orlando facility.Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U. S. Citizenship status with ability to obtain a SECRET to TOP SECRET security clearance.
