Linthicum, MD.Responsibilities will include:Defines and develops material strategyResponsible for the assessment of supply resources; aggregates and prioritizes demand requirements; plans inventory, distribution requirements, production, material and rough-cut capacity for all productsParticipates in make/buy process, long-term capacity and resource planning; product phase-in/phase-out, manufacturing ramp-up, end-of-life management and product-line managementAnalyzes and aggregates supply/demand requirementsAnalyzes purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) toolsPlans inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirementsAssesses rough-cut capacity for current and short-term manufacturing requirementsCreates/reduces supply requirements based on inventory adjustmentsParticipates in long-term capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling of new product line phase-ins as well as existing product line phase-outsInterfaces with Source process area regarding inventory levels, working capital and other areas as neededCreates/releases requisitionsReceives/reviews requirements for non-standard partsAnalyzes lead times and identifies critical path procurementsBasic Qualifications Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist:Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of supply chain, general business, finance, or sales experience or master's degree with 4+ years of supply chain, general business, finance, or sales experienceProficiency Microsoft Office Programs and SAP (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project)Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance (US Citizenship is required.)Experience purchasing material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) toolsExperience managing suppliers through the following: cost/schedule/qualityBasic Qualifications Senior Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist:Same as Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist, plus:Bachelor's Degree in a Business discipline from an accredited university and 10+ years of subcontracts, supplier management, procurement or project management experience OR Master's Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management with 8+ year experienceWorking knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulationsExperience in proposal roles and responsibilitiesExperience managing programs with earned Value (EV)Experience with cost accounting management (CAM)Preferred Qualifications:Experience interpreting engineering drawingsExperience working with radar related technologiesExperience with forecasting material receipts and sales dollars into COGNOSCurrently have an active DoD security clearanceSalary Range:
$84,600 - $127,000Salary Range 2:
$104,900 - $157,300The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
