Position Overview

The Director of Member Events and Experiential Branding is a leadership role responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy for events and programs that align with the organization's goals. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the target audience, industry trends, and the ability to curate compelling and engaging content for various events.

Main Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

Develop and execute a strategic event programming plan aligned with organizational objectives.

Develop and implement a comprehensive experiential branding strategy aligned with the overall business objectives.

Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure a consistent and cohesive brand message across all Woodhouse social membership clubs.

Content Curation:

Oversee the development and curation of compelling and relevant content for events, conferences, and programs.

Ensure that content aligns with the target audience and the organization's messaging and goals.

Program Development:

Lead the planning, development, and execution of a diverse range of events for all members.

Work closely with internal teams and external partners to create innovative and impactful event experiences.

Leadership and Team Management:

Lead the Private Events and Programming team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Work cross-functionally with other social membership clubs across Woodhouse to integrate experiential branding initiatives.

Brand Experience Design:

Oversee the conceptualization, design, and execution of immersive brand experiences, events, and activations.

Ensure that brand experiences align with the company's values, mission, and resonate with the target audience.

Budget Management:

Develop and manage budgets for event programming and experiential branding initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and a positive return on investment.

Audience Engagement:

Develop strategies to enhance attendee engagement and satisfaction.

Utilize audience feedback and analytics to continually improve and refine event programming.

Measurement and Analytics:

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of experiential branding efforts.

Analyze data and feedback to continuously refine and optimize future initiatives.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with Woodhouse Creative Director to bring creative concepts to life.

Build and maintain relationships with partners, sponsors, and stakeholders to enhance brand reach.

Work collaboratively with Woodhouse Director of Partnerships.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA) is often preferred.

Experience:

Proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing experiential branding initiatives.

Extensive background in brand strategy, marketing, and consumer engagement.

Proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing event programming.

Extensive background in event planning, program development, and content curation.

Leadership Skills:

Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a creative team.

Creativity:

Demonstrated ability to think creatively and develop innovative brand experiences.

Communication Skills:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate and present ideas effectively.

Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making.

Industry Knowledge:

Deep understanding of industry trends, consumer behavior, emerging technologies in experiential marketing, and best practices in event programming.
