Manager, Strategic Sourcing

This position develops and drives sourcing strategies for local & regional initiatives in Facility Management Services that drive value to JLL and our clients.

Strategic Sourcing planning and delivery tasks include:Build strong cross-functional relationships and partner with internal Facilities Management teams and clients to drive both immediate and sustained benefits to the client. Proactively manage internal and external customer expectations by understanding their business needs and priorities.Bring strategic thought leadership to account to identify cost and operational efficiencies as it relates to Sourcing or Contract Management activities.Develop category plan to provide visibility to subcategory spends, supplier summaries, stakeholder engagement plans, contract summaries and market insights that lead to both short and long-term strategies.Assess and build annual sourcing initiatives that provide detailed service commodity strategies that identify objectives, leveraged spend initiatives, and milestone timelines.Lead the development of change management plans associated with sourcing activities to ensure timely communication and engagement of key stakeholders (operational and otherwise) throughout the life of the sourcing initiatives (from planning to execution). Meet with JLL and Client Leadership to review progress and engage them to advocate and sponsor change.Contract Management tasks include:Establish contracts with selected service providers in specific markets.Ensure contracting and procurement standards, policies and procedures are maintained and followed throughout Client account.Assist with the execution of strategies and business processes for new supplier evaluation, risk assessment and supplier performance management.Oversee management of new supplier onboarding including JLL system setups, supplier rollout and transition support.Supply Chain performance tasks include:Drive Supplier Performance Management Program (SPMP) to include activities such as conducting local and regional supplier performance review meetings, managing scorecards, contract compliance, and service obligations.Manage supplier relationships. Understand, track, and mitigate key risks related to our supply chain partners. Report results and identify opportunities for improvements on a regular basis.Critical Competencies for Success:BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and procurement experience.5+ years strategic sourcing experience for services or indirect categories, ie. facilities, highly desired.Proven track record of leading decentralized teams, with an ability to influence across the organization and deliver results in evolving environments.Strategic mindset with the ability to develop strategic road maps and translate into executable plans and supply solutions.Superior customer service, relationship building and follow up skills.Strong analytical and organizational abilities.Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.Computer proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and experience with procurement systems, ie. Bravo, highly desired.
