Sanmina Corporation has facilities strategically located in key regions throughout the world.Job Purpose:Performs clerical tasks in the production control function. Sorts, posts and files inventory records and production schedules. Estimates and records production rates, prepares shop orders and reviews stock records to determine stock status against project requirements.Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:Prioritizes and coordinates document packages with Doc ctrl personnel for production orders.Coordinates and expedites flow of incoming materials through receiving process, Inspection and Kitting.Coordinates movement of assemblies between departments, according to manufacturing schedules and/or priorities.Attends production meetings and provides status on material shortage commit dates.Investigates and drives resolution of production issues and problems relating to shortages, variances, or other impediments to smooth material flow through the factory.Coordinates logistics of product movement between manufacturing work centers and manufacturing facilities.Works closely with Document control/Manufacturing Engineering to ensure and maintain revision control for all Shop Order and documents issued to manufacturing.Works closely with planning to ensure shop orders and rework shop orders are closed in a timely manner.Education and Experience:High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years Manufacturing/Operations experience in a similar role or a planning/scheduling role.Understands working with work orders, manufacturing bill of materials involving assemblies and sub-assemblies.Active team player, works well under pressure and demonstrates good communication skills.Organized, detail-oriented individual with ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy of information.Position requires personnel to be on site and cannot be performed remotely.Preferred Qualifications:This is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer – M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity.Salary Range (annual):
