One of our clients is seeking a
Director of Operations
to join their team.
This is a full time, direct hire opportunity where you will earn up to $175,000 per year, based on your experience. Plus, additional bonus and incentives. You will work Monday – Friday, daytime hours.
Some of your responsibilities as Director of Operations include leading the firms trade supervision efforts, as well as:
Strategic Planning
Creating, monitoring, and reporting performance metrics
Ensuring company goals and standards are met by monitoring progress regularly
Leading back and middle office operations
Implementing policies, procedures, and controls
Overseeing day-to-day operations
Ensuring systems and processes are meeting the business needs of the Financial Advisors
Creating and supervising system administration of the Financial Advisor systems platform including full life cycle from prospect to client
Building a hybrid model of insourced and outsourced services
Partnering with department leaders, third-party vendors, and financial professionals to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals
Overseeing change management and work process design/improvement efforts and system enhancements
Looking for opportunities to improve business processes through automation and process redesign
Developing both short and long-term strategies, aligned with company objectives to achieve department and company goals
Leading Advisor onboarding initiatives including adding Financial Advisors, moving client accounts including history, reconciling data, and training
Advocating for innovation to transform the way the company supports and interacts with business partners
Coordinating and communicating activities and statuses to leadership
Working closely with team members, advisors, product distributors, head of distribution, and company executives
Participating in high priority or sensitive case management escalations
Travel up to 25%
Performing other duties as assigned
To qualify, you must have three to four (3 - 4) years of experience, you will also be expected to have:
Bachelor’s degree
Series 6 or 7 (must have one)
Series 65 or 66 (must have one)
FINRA license
Success with strategic planning - showcasing ability to impact change
Life and Annuity insurance industry experience
4-5 years of wealth industry experience
Strong MS Office skills
Ability to multitask
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
