Job Summary:Raytheon is looking for an experienced Material Program Manager to join the Advanced Technologies Airborne Spectrum Dominance Product Line Supply Chain team supporting a portfolio of fast-paced development programs. The successful candidate will be a self-starter capable of developing and achieving program material delivery and financial performance objectives in a matrixed environment and successfully interface with functional and program leadership.

In this highly visible role, you’ll be the liaison between Supply Chain and Program teams. You’ll create and execute the Program Material Strategy to ensure the flawless execution from the front end of the business through contract closure. This position supports product development efforts and requires the ability to operate in a challenging and constantly changing environment where successful material strategy execution is a key contributor to overall program success.

What You Will Do:Developing and executing Material Program Plans and Supplier Management PlansPlanning and executing sourcing decisions and supporting the Make/Buy/Where processIdentifying Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and communicating required Terms Attachments (T-Attachments) and/or Modifications (TCMs)Assisting with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs)Generating Supplier Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs), and obtaining and understanding supplier proposals/quotesGenerating and processing Supplier New Add / Re-Activation requestsDriving Purchase Requisition generation & Purchase Order placement/management using Material Request Forms (MRF) and/or Master Scheduling Authorization Tool (MSALT)Coordinating purchase requirements with Program Operations Management and Production Control Planning and SchedulingParticipating in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performanceWork as a Control Account Manager (CAM) or support the CAM for material and major suppliersQualifications You Must Have:Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experienceExperience with budget management, finance and/or Earned Value Management SystemExperience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement processes and requirementsExperience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SSOWs)Prior work experience with Microsoft Office software applications (Word, PowerPoint, and/or Excel including Pivot Tables)The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is requiredU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications We Prefer:Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management or relatedExperience supporting complex product development effortsExperience leading and/or participating in cross functional teamsExcellent reporting/communication skillsWhat We Offer:Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
