A Shift Leader is a Team Member in charge of providing direct supervision and ensuring everything runs smoothly during their shift. You’ll ensure that the restaurant is a safe place for Team Members to work and customers to visit.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssign and direct daily duties for Team Members based on role, skills, and shift needs.Maintain high standards in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and guest satisfaction.Uphold Toppers policies and procedures; provide feedback/coaching to Team Members as needed.Be knowledgeable of delivery area map/traffic patterns to assist delivery drivers in organizing their routes.Solve customer complaints quickly and with a smile.Provide feedback to Team Members in a positive manner.Train new Team Members on daily tasks.Balance cash draw and prepare deposit.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMust be legally eligible to work in the United States.Must be 18 years of age.Must have a source of reliable transportation.Previous quick service restaurant or supervisory experience.Serve-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to meet the following physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation:Must be able to exert well-paced and frequent mobility for periods of up to five hours.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and key in data.Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, and shellfish.In addition to Hourly Wage + TIPS, Team Members are eligible for:Flexible Scheduling.Pay Advances through PayActiv.Meal Discounts (70% While working/50% when not).Free Uniform T-Shirt.Referral bonuses for bringing new members to our team.Rapid advancement opportunities – We offer a Manager–in–Training program with pay increase at each step of the training.All insurance benefits and 401(k) retirement when minimum service and average hours are satisfied.
