Product Owner
to become a key player in our North America team. If you're a seasoned Product Owner and ready to take your career to new heights with an established, globally successful company, this role could be the perfect fit.The Product Owner role is a key product leadership role within the Specialized North American Products of Sapiens. In this role, you would be part of a team working on Sapiens Life Policy Administration System.Main responsibilities would include (but not be limited to):Own product guidance by providing product leadership and daily management throughout product development from inception to delivery, leading and holding teams accountable to deliver on product vision along with the reporting of the roadmap execution to ensure delivery and quality results.Create requirements and drive reviews with internal teams and with customers to ensure clarity and understanding. Work closely with development teams to define iteration content and communicate/groom user context and business requirements with adequate detail, from epics to use cases, workflows, user stories, wire frames, acceptance criteria, etc.Meet with sales and customers (inbound and outbound) as needed to gather VOC and to help guide product concepts, POCs and testing.Take part in the configuration of the parameters enabling the features.Support the continuous update of the Product Documentation.Support of Testing including definition of Acceptance Criteria, review of Test Scripts and conducting Expert Testing.Peer Review activities with other Product Owners, Business and System Analysts and technical resources to ensure completeness and Quality Assurance.Own proofs-of-concept and test plans, articulating clear success criteria.Create Training Material in cooperation with the Training Team, conduct internal and external Training sessions and take part in customer and peers onboarding exercises.Roadmap build up.Contribute to the product increment planning processes, including product planning, backlog management, innovation pipeline, etc.Identify market needs and opportunities through a wide variety of sources (User Community, Market Analysts, Projects, RFPs, etc.) and generate innovative product offerings and concepts.Act as a trusted advisor to peers.Provide customers with Design Advice guidance and consultancy.Act as Design Authority.Skills and ExperienceAt least 5 years’ experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or System Analyst using Agile methodology – A must.Demonstrated experience of full project lifecycle having been involved in numerous system implementation or enhancement projects, and significant functional change implementations.Demonstrated experience in supporting end-to-end solutions from design to implementation and roll out.Expert knowledge of insurance industry with at least 5 years’ experience working in the US Life and Pensions industry – A Must.In-depth knowledge of Life and Pensions and of Life and Pensions administration systems.Pensions experience including occupational and personal pensions, regulations, accumulation and drawdown.Experience with Fund scheme/investment platforms and associate functionality.Comfortable in leading team members and coordinating with cross-functional teams – A Must.Basic Command of SQL and participation in data related activities e.g. data migration, mapping, APIs definition, etc. – A Must.Experience in creating data, analytics and ML/AI products and services - an advantage.Highly articulated, with excellent written and verbal skills (English a must, other languages advantage).
