The Manager, Operational Excellence plays a critical role in the operational excellence strategy and execution of initiatives for goPuff. In this role, you will define, drive and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of our sites regionally and network-wide. In addition, you will create frameworks and mechanisms to guide teams and share best practices with your field partners and other critical cross-functional teams. As a partner, change agent, and lean practitioner, you will provide coaching support for functional leaders on subjects related to Operational Excellence and Lean leadership across the organization. Using data and analytics, you will be responsible to build strong relationships with your stakeholders and execute sustainable programs that simplify processes, improve quality, remove waste and reduce cost. Your analysis and deep insights into the business will help identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement across the organization. This is a remote position that requires heavy travel, with opportunity to be based anywhere in the contiguous United States.Qualifications

Degree in a related field or related experience5+ years of combined experience in operations, program/product management, and/or operational excellence/continuous improvement/process development roles with an emphasis on lean principlesExtensive knowledge of change management and lean optimization principlesLean and/or Six Sigma certification or equivalent work experience preferredDemonstrated track record of driving and implementing process improvements cross-functionallyExperience in e-commerce, grocery, and food experience is preferred, but related industries will be consideredFamiliarity with Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodology preferredExperience delivering multiple concurrent projects with aggressive schedulesExperience leading training, process mapping, and documentationExperience developing web-based team collaboration pages in Confluence, Share Point, etc.Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levelsSelf-starter that can identify issues and craft solutions with minimal directionUnderstanding of organizational transformation at scaleKey Skills, Abilities, and Competencies

Identify and drive multiple continuous improvement initiatives with cross-functional alignment and stakeholder buy-inCreate and maintain clear, user-friendly process documentation: templates, tools, process maps, graphical representations, etc.Manage and facilitate forums to share best practices and disseminate process changesLead training sessions on lean methodologies and associated focused topicsPartner with learning and development experts to craft online and live training and process materials to help deliver information at scaleMentor Technical and non-technical stakeholders through the lean goPuff processDevelop and implement sustainable efficiency programs throughout the organizationDefine and track key performance metrics for product development to measure process efficiencies and highlight bottlenecksLeverage analytics, data, and appropriate lean tools to improve overall business performanceCommunicate roadmap, progress, and issues to senior leadership timelyThe only predictable thing about life is that it’s wildly unpredictable.
