Supply Chain Planning Specialist
to support the Advanced Tactical Programs within the Tactical Fighters Business Unit. They will also support the supplier Production Readiness Reviews (10-12 visits per year).The ideal candidate acts as the main focal point for execution of Long-Term Pricing Agreements (LTPA) for key suppliers and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met.Responsibilities include:Define and develop material strategy.Assess supply resources; aggregate and prioritize demand requirements; plan inventory, distribution requirements, production, material and rough-cut capacity for all products.Participate in make/buy process, long-term capacity and resource planning; product phase-in/phase-out, manufacturing ramp-up, end-of-life management, and product-line management.Analyze and aggregate supply/demand requirements using MRP tools.Plan inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements.Assess rough-cut capacity for current and short-term manufacturing requirements.Create/reduce supply requirements based on inventory adjustments.Participate in long-term capacity and resource planning for new product line phase-ins and existing product line phase-outs.Interface with Source process area regarding inventory levels, working capital and other areas as needed.Create/release requisitions and review requirements for non-standard parts.Analyze lead times and identify critical path procurements.This is a Band 2 position located in Linthicum, MD. This role is hybrid, requiring two (2) days in the NGC office and travel.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 3 years (1+ Years with Master's) of supply chain, program management, and/or business management experience.US citizen with the ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles, or experience.Proficiency in MS Office suite, with expertise in Excel.Proficiency in SAP.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in supply chain or business management.Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations.Demonstrated experience with earned value management.Demonstrated experience in large electronics production programs.Current DoD Secret or higher security clearance.Salary Range:
