We are seeking a Project Manager to join our growing Civil/Transportation Department at Ardmore Roderick. We are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager level candidate who is interested in overseeing projects, interacting with clients and supervising design staff. The ideal candidate will possess both Phase I and Phase II experience in projects for clients such as IDOT, Tollway, CDOT and local agencies. Your duties will include:DescriptionOversee and mentor Junior EngineersPerform designs, create drawings and review those of othersPerform Quality Control reviewsPrepare RFP’s submittals and Go/No Go potential pursuitsServe as a technical expert on design mattersLead project meetings both internally and with clientsManage scope/schedule/budget of projectsOther duties as necessaryRequirementsBSCE degree in Civil Engineering10+ years of experience in roadway designProfessional Engineer (PE) License requiredFamiliarity with IDOT, Tollway and Local AgenciesMicrostation, Open Roads 3D Modeling, ProjectWiseTraffic Software such as HCS, SynchroDrainage programs such as Geopak Drainage, SUDA, HEC-RASExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWe strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the job requirements.
