We are looking for a proactive and dedicated individual to join our Finance and Commercial team as a Senior Project Finance and Controls Lead. You will help manage project finances, coordinate project activities, and partner with project managers to ensure the successful execution of projects.You will report to the Commercial/Financial team and work in partnership with the California Vice President to provide Project Finance and Controls support to the San Francisco and San Diego markets, which are in active growth mode. California-based candidates desired; qualified remote candidates willing to travel occasionally will also be considered.You Will Focus On:

Project Accounting:

Ensure billing, invoicing, and financial reporting, including review of sub consultant invoicing and tracking.Collaborate with project managers to monitor project budgets, expenses, rate schedules, and financial progress.Project Coordination:

Be the primary contact for project managers, ensuring communication to maintain project deliverables, ensure adherence to schedules, and identify risks.Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including facilitating contract review and execution, change orders, subcontractor agreements, in close collaboration with project managers.Generate regular reports on project financials, progress, and issues for both project managers and senior management.You Have:

5+ years of experience with project accounting or coordination within the civil engineering or construction industry.Proficiency in project management software, accounting software (BST, Deltek, or similar A/E/C financial software), and Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a combination of education and experience.Compensation Information:

Base salary for this position is in the range of $95,000-$120,000 depending on qualifications. Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually.
