ABOUT MADAThe Minnesota Auto Dealers Association is a 501c6 statewide trade association, dedicated to promote and protect new car and truck franchise dealers in Minnesota. We provide Advocacy, Expertise, Educational Training, Products and Title Solutions to our members.JOB SUMMARYWe are seeking an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager to be responsible for the development and execution of all marketing, communications, and membership strategies for MADA.The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, excellent verbal and written communications, and an understanding of the automotive industry.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESMarketing Responsibilities:Create, implement, execute, and manage a comprehensive marketing strategy that includes a full communications plan.Develop a marketing and communications strategy to promote legal & legislative support and products & educational services.Oversee marketing for all MADA business units to ensure consistent and cohesive brand messaging across all platforms.Establish brand standards and marketing messages to be used internally and externally.Determine and use analytics for data-driven marketing decisions.Establish market segments and create go to market strategies.Work with the Directors of MADA’s five revenue streams to coordinate the production and dissemination of marketing materials and the execution of custom campaigns.Communications Responsibilities:Manage and review content for organization’s public-facing website, update with fresh content on a regular basis.Provide excellent copy-writing of all marketing materialsSelect message appropriate media. Ensure integration of content across different media.Develop and implement ongoing marketing strategy for multiple channels including: (1) digital Channels such as website, video creation, social media, newsletters, publications, MADA magazines, membership directories, potential e-commerce site and member portal, etc.; (2) print Channels such as publications, sales, marketing, promotional, and event-related collateral, newsletters, membership directories, and MADA magazines; (3) Public Relations including actively using high-quality content for press releases, organizational storytelling to prospective and current members, establishing and utilizing media relationships, legislative overview, etc.Determine plan for advertising direction including advertising channel, placements, messaging, creative, delivery, and timingTrack, measure, analyze and report effectiveness of communication programs, marketing campaigns, and events.Association and Membership Responsibilities:Develop and implement strategies to engage existing members in the activities of the association.Plan and execute association events such as conferences, trade webinars, and member meetings.Organize and manage membership networking opportunities.Collaborate with other staff to ensure that event sponsors, speakers, and vendors have successful event outcomes.Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including members, sponsors, and other partners.Represent the association at industry events, meetings, and other functions as needed.Facilitate member feedback and incorporate it into association strategies and initiatives.Manage vendor, outsourced, and third-party relationships.Leadership Responsibilities:Work closely with the President and other senior staff to align membership and communications goals with the association’s strategic plan.Collaborate with various departments to ensure integrated and effective operations.Manage vendor, outsourced, and third-party relationships.Lead and mentor an Event Manager.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Project Management or related field required.Minimum of 5 years of experience in membership management and communications, preferably within a trade association or non-profit organization.Strong understanding of the automotive industry and its stakeholders.Experience in association and / or membership management preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in digital marketing tools, content management systems, and social media platforms.Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong interpersonal skills.Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.Proficient in Microsoft office.Experience with SalesForce highly desired.BENEFITSCompetitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.Dynamic and collaborative work environment.
