Sr. Supply Chain Proposal Professional

to join the Supply Chain team. You will work with the greater proposal team and manage every aspect of the Supply Chain inputs to a customer proposal. This role has an outsized impact on the company as a whole and is vital for profitable execution of Saab programs.Responsibilities include:Partners with key cross-functional stakeholders to develop cost estimates for both material and labor.Works with cross functional leaders, DOSC, and Supply Chain team members to develop key project milestones of overall material program schedules to be supported by Supply Chain for all proposal work.Represents Supply Chain in Business Development and Proposal meetings (and coordinates with the Supply Chain team) to provide recommendations to the Supply Chain Manager on strategy and provide recommendations to cross functional leaders.Collaborates with stakeholders across the US and Interdivisional affiliates. Expected travel to Saab Inc., US locations and to Sweden will be up to 10-25%.Acts with individual agency ensuring professional accountability for your work product.Exhibits exceptional competency in contractual and financial acumen.Compensation Range:

$75,800- $94,800The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.Skills and Experience:Supply Chain experience with the U.S. Government, Department of Defense, or Federal Aviation Administration.Comprehensive understanding of the procurement process (sourcing, qualifying suppliers, placing orders, tracking On Time Deliveries, and expediting).A strong ability to master the details of each assigned project and independently problem solve.Possesses an inquisitive nature and has a strong ability to ask insightful questions.Experience navigating through an ERP system.Experience with contracting methods and types.Analytical thinking and problem solving- ability to apply sound judgement and creativity.Must be able to engage with executive level leadership, clients, and cross functional teams.Financial Acumen- ability to determine cost reasonableness.BA/BS degree with 7+ years of experience

MBA/MS/JD degree with 5+ years of experience.Desired Skills:5 or more years of experience in a production and/or development environment with preference for aerospace and defense experience.Experience with working as part of a proposal team in response to a customer solicitation.Has developed Individual Subcontracting Plans.Cross-functional experience working with Quality, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, Program Management.Continuous Improvement (Black Belt, Green Belt).Comprehension of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).Experience interacting with programs and reporting out to business leadership.Willingness to travel up to 25% in support of program and business development efforts.Must be capable of obtaining a Secret level clearance.Citizenship Requirements:Must be a U.S. citizen.
