Our pet industry client is looking for a UX Designer to help with redeveloping their design system. This role will be roughly 25-35 hours a week depending on workload. This assignment is slated to last through the end of the year and is fully remote. The ideal UX Designer will be in the CST or EST time zone and this does require owning equipment.UX Designer Responsibilities:

Support team bandwidth and help build out their new design system in Figma.Work with the external agency and internal team to reconfigure the design system in Figma.Conduct a component audit and ensure that the design system is being built in a centralized way.Handle linking of assets, develop reusable components, and assist with the overall architecture/guidelines of the design system.Perform competitive research, wireframing, analyzing current design systems and design architecture.Communicate between project stakeholders and bring project recommendations to the team.Include compliant design practices, WCAG.Requirements:
