The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of experience in family law or related areas, with excellent academic credentials and a proven ability to handle complex legal matters. This position requires admission to practice law in New York and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services in family law cases.Duties:Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, and spousal support.Draft, review, and file legal documents such as petitions, motions, and settlement agreements.Conduct legal research and prepare briefs, memoranda, and case strategies.Manage a caseload of family law matters, ensuring timely and effective case progression.Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and potential outcomes of their cases.Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation and court proceedings.Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to provide comprehensive legal services.Maintain accurate and detailed case records and documentation.Stay updated on changes in family law and legal precedents.Requirements:Must have at least 2 years of experience in family law or related litigation.Must be admitted to practice law in New York.Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Proven litigation experience, with matrimonial and family law experience preferred.Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal cases and manage client relationships.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admitted to practice law in New York State.Skills:Strong knowledge of family law and legal procedures.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to draft legal documents with precision and clarity.Proficient in legal research and case management.Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.Strong organizational and time-management abilities.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
