Your JobKoch Engineered Solutions Equipment Technology & Services (KES ET&S) is seeking a Global Category Manager focused on driving value and efficiency. In this role, you'll foster collaboration and agility within the procurement team, develop and implement category strategies, and ensure timely, cost-effective acquisitions for project execution. You'll also work with Global Product Owners to identify cost savings and enhance value through strategic sourcing and supplier management.

What You Will Do

Collaborate with key stakeholders to align sourcing strategies and resources with business objectives and project requirements.

Establish and lead cross-functional teams comprised of key stakeholders to collaboratively define business requirements and develop strategic category plans and initiatives that create value and reduce risk.

Leverage data to identify problem areas and adopt current and emerging business models with an entrepreneurial mindset and creative approach to drive best practices.

Conduct thorough market analysis and research to stay abreast of trends, emerging technologies, supplier capabilities, and competitive landscapes to develop a market POV.

Establish influence within the organization, evaluate existing practices, and challenge the status quo when necessary. Foster strong, trusting relationships with stakeholders and business partners globally.

Make recommendations to the business by using the total cost approach to manage risks.

Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure a competitive advantage in the market, aligning with the business's assurance of supply and operational cost-effectiveness.

Manage and develop key suppliers using Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) tools and industry best practices.

Measure and monitor progress and ensure savings and performance targets are achieved.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Supply Chain Management, Engineering related field or equivalent procurement experience.

Demonstrated capability to use data to make business decisions.

Experience with cross-collaborating to define and advance a shared vision resulting in actionable strategies and priorities.

Exercise the highest standards of integrity, discretion, and judgment.

Experience developing and maintaining strategic relationships.

Ability to travel as required (up to 25%).

What Will Put You Ahead

Stainless Steel or subcontracting sourcing expertise.

CPM, CPIM, PMP Certification.

Ten (10) years of supplier relationship management experience.

Proven experience in building and implementing a strategic sourcing framework.
