Job Summary:

Responsible for the management and coordination of all departments in the Rooms Division, directing and providing primary leadership to Housekeeping, Front Office, Guest Services, Guest Experience, Valet/Bell Services, Waterfront & Spa. Ensure that the highest caliber of service is being offered to all guests in accordance with the Standards of Service provided by Inn at Perry Cabin and Preferred Hotels and Resorts, so that all expectations are met or exceeded.

Essential Job Functions:

Oversee all areas of the Housekeeping, Front Office, Guest Services, Guest Experience, Valet/Bell, Waterfront and Spa.

As a member of the Executive Team, work closely with each Executive Team Member in achieving hotel’s performance and financial goals & objectives.

Assist in establishing and creating goals and strategies for both the operational and financial success of your division.

Responsible for establishing and maintaining hotel standards.

Comply with all Standards of Service, and ensure Forbes service standards are implemented.

Responsible for crew member compliance with hotel policies and procedures; initiate disciplinary action when appropriate.

Interact in courteous and professional manner with all guests, staff and community members.

Respond in courteous, professional and rapid manner to resolve all guest and staff difficulties.

Maintain safety and cleanliness of work area and ensure safety and cleanliness in all areas of departmental responsibility.

Conduct Managerial performance evaluations, delivering candid and honest feedback.

Perform all other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Minimum of ten years’ hotel experience with at least five years’ experience at the executive level in a luxury brand.

Independent hotel background in a resort destination is also strongly preferred.

College / University degree preferred.

Excellent knowledge and experience with hotel operating systems such as Opera, Resort Suites, Knowcross or similar.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.

Proven background of guest service excellence and effective financials.

Must be able to read, write, and type in English.
