Additionally, this position requires a strong communicator and inclusive collaborator who can drive creativity and enthusiasm in others and is able to employ unique marketing techniques for complex technologies and a complex business.As the Senior Director, Product Marketing, the position will be embedded within the North American customer team organization, working directly with Qualcomm customers, sales leaders, product managers, engineering leads, and Qualcomm automotive leadership. The demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate across multiple domains is essential to be successful in this role. A strong background in the automotive or semiconductor industries, across OEMs and suppliers, is required.This position is at the epicenter of ensuring that we secure our growth for Qualcomm’s rapidly evolving automotive portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesLead technical product marketing for assigned customers and productsBuild and grow trusting relationships with automotive customersPrepare and present concise and convincing product presentations and technology demonstrationsInitiate and execute partner and customer collaborationsCommunicate automotive product offerings, strategies, and solution proposals to various audiences with vastly differing product or domain knowledgeContribute to development of global auto product marketing strategiesSupport the development of product and technology promotions and communicationsLearn and understand customer organizations, including developing and managing relationships across the technical and commercial groups, from working level to leadershipDevelop and maintain a deep and dynamic understanding of the customer’s business and technical objectives, strategies, and capabilities, and ensure ongoing alignment with Qualcomm automotive business objectivesSupport business acquisitions for telematics, in-vehicle infotainment, ADAS/Autonomy, connectivity, cellular V2X, car-to-cloud, and other automotive product lines and offeringsIncubate new business and revenue opportunities jointly with Qualcomm’s automotive business unitWork across multiple organizations and disciplines within Qualcomm including sales, engineering, product management and other business unit functionsTravel to customers in North AmericaRequired CompetenciesTechnical leadership: Leverages technical, professional, and domain-specific knowledge to achieve strategic results, break down complex challenges, and captivate customer stakeholdersBuilding Collaborative Relationships: Serve as a role model for building and growing professional connections with key stakeholders.
