Company Overview: Codemax Medical Billing is a leading Medical Billing Company specializing in behavioral health facility billing. With a dedicated team of 130 employees onshore and 25 offshore professionals in the Philippines, we provide comprehensive billing services to our clients. With headquarters in Van Nuys, California, and a satellite office in Palmdale, California, we are committed to excellence in healthcare revenue management. As part of our growth strategy, we are planning to open a third office in Florida.

Position Summary: Codemax Medical Billing is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to lead our HR department. The HR Manager will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of human resources, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee relations. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of our department supervisors and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:Collaborate with department heads to understand their staffing needs and create job descriptions.Source, screen, and interview candidates, ensuring a diverse and qualified talent pool.Schedule and coordinate interviews, conduct reference checks, and make job offers.Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.Performance Management:Develop and implement a performance review process to evaluate employee performance.Manage and execute performance reviews and related compensation adjustments.Work closely with department supervisors to identify training and development needs.Employee Relations:Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, disputes, and grievances.Facilitate conflict resolution and engage in disciplinary actions when necessary.Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.Policy Development and Enforcement:Enforce existing company handbook policies, ensuring compliance across the organization.Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement new HR policies and procedures as needed.Expansion Planning:Support the company's growth plans by assisting with the establishment of a new office in Florida.Ensure the HR function aligns with the needs of the new location.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field (Master's preferred).Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years of HR leadership experience.In-depth knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.Flexibility to adapt to changing organizational needs.HR certification (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) is a plus.
