Location: Connecticut (CT)
Position: Locum Tenens - Ophthalmology Physician

Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Coverage Needed:

• 6+ shifts per month
• Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with call
• Weeknight Call: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM
• Weekend Call: Friday 5:00 PM - Monday 8:00 AM

Worksite Setting:

• Outpatient clinic and surgery
• Newly built outpatient pavilion with state-of-the-art ophthalmology suite
• Convenient skywalk connecting the outpatient pavilion to the operating room

Scope of Work:

• General Ophthalmology (OPH) and/or Optometry (OPT)
• Perform cataract surgeries and other ophthalmic surgical procedures
• Evaluate and surgically treat trauma cases
• Subspecialty focus in glaucoma is preferred

Licenses, Certifications, & Requirements:

• Connecticut (CT) license preferred; Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) considered
• Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO)
• DEA license required

EMR System:

• EPIC
