Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a driven Senior Product Operations Manager who will be part of a global Product Operations team within our cross-discipline Product Organisation. You'll partner closely with Product, R&D and the business to improve our product team's effectiveness through leadership, ways of working, effective communications, process change and coaching of teams, for sustained performance and team health.

You will be able to move between strategic, operational and communication components, to contribute to successful delivery of great products and facilitate effective feedback funnel to continuously amaze our internal and external customers. You can demonstrate that you have helped other organizations shift into highly functioning product groups.

What you will be doing:

You will be focused on contributing to sustained Product Excellence and amplifying capabilities. You will help Product organisation to evolve processes and operate at scale ensuring that what we develop relates to both our customer and business outcomes. You will support Product Ops Leadership in developing strategic direction for Product Operations that connects the role of the team to the success of Product.

Responsibilities;
• Lead change initiatives and create structures which support product management best practices, methodologies, and tools, serving as an internal expert
• Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams and influence decision making within senior-level audiences; lead execution against recommendations quickly and with accuracy
• Own end to end programs and initiatives supporting the operations of Product team
• Seek out business partners' feedback and pain points, then design solutions to address the issues, defining objectives and creating / executing against project plans
• Mentor team members, share knowledge and expertise on best practices, using new processes and tools. Represent The Trade Desk Product team externally
• Support psychological safety, team health and happiness within product org

About you:
• You are passionate about operational processes, a cultural leader, and systems thinker who can lead a team to effectively break down problems and scope solutions.
• You have experience successfully managing multiple projects/programs simultaneously from start to finish
• You are data-driven and skilfully use data to influence key stakeholders.
• You have a customer-centric approach to your work and will pull out all the stops to ensure that is core to our product.
• You have strong organisational skills and a structured approach to solving problems.
• You can communicate effectively, and have empathy to conflicting needs. You can challenge and push back where needed.
• You are responsive and hands-on with all aspects of the work, including helping other teams to get something across the line.
• You proactively bring fresh ideas to the table and drive things forward
• Grit - you are comfortable with ambiguity, resilient to change, having the ability to adapt or change course and happy to be challenged.
• You act with autonomy and give guidance and training where needed
• You promote a positive working environment through active listening, speaking and creating empathy with people beyond the boundaries of their working group

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in a technology company in Product Management, Product Operations, UX Design or Engineering and interface with business teams
• Familiar with various product and design tools eg. JIRA, Confluence, whiteboarding tools.

NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only: In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is

$93,100-$170,600 USD
