ECKERT INSURANCE GROUP is an established independent agency. We serve Austin's most responsible residents and small business owners. Our goal is to produce lower loss ratios than our carrier partner loss ratios.
WE WILL PAY: A competitive compensation package for the right person to join our inside sales and service team.
FOR THE FOLLOWING: First, to take over a commercial P&C book from a retiring producer. Second, to sell new business generated from agency leads.
SPECIFICALLY: Earnings start with a guaranteed monthly salary. Then a package of bonuses kick in that will effectively pay up to 35% of your managed commissions. As your book size grows, so does your compensation. As it should.
In addition to being handsomely rewarded, each day you will have the option of working from home or at our south Austin location.
THIS IS IMPORTANT: Although the initial book of business you will take over is 100% commercial lines, you will be required to sell and service home and auto insurance. Eckert is 65% personal lines. Serving Austin individuals and families is in our DNA. It is enjoyable and rewarding. You must be in alignment with us on this point.
LOOKING FOR A PERFECT FIT: You must want to be generally interested in finding a long-term relationship with your next employer. You must desire a less corporate environment than that found at larger agencies. You must be proficient in commercial lines, yet eager to sell and service personal lines.
Eckert has deep Austin roots and values. Our founder was born in Austin in 1932. He served as president of IIA Austin in 1974. He sold the agency to his son, Will Eckert, who joined the agency in 1987. Will served as president of IIA Austin in 1998.
Agency ownership has since been broadened to include two inside sales and service agents.
We are a tight team and profitable. To further increase our take-home pay, we will boost our marketing efforts as soon as the timing improves.
YOU MUST POSSESS FOUR REQUIREMENTS:
A residence in or near Austin.
Applied Epic experience.
Commercial lines account manager/agent experience.
Personal lines account manager/agent experience - or if not, a high degree of interest.
