BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION

Safeguard's Kubota's assets and assesses risk exposure using financial and other reporting analytics. Trains dealership personnel on Kubota inventory programs and inventory accounting policies. Identifies dealerships with elevated risk. Consults with Sales Department on business development issues.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company's policies, procedures and guidelines:

  • Evaluates financial performance of Kubota dealerships and, based on a variety of factors, determines appropriate risk ratings. Prepares and submits dealership watch list.
  • Makes decisions or recommendations on renewals and/or modifications. Works with Relationship Manager and internal clients.
  • Has oversight of physical inventory audit scheduling of assigned dealerships.
  • Has oversight of workout or asset liquidation situations. Ensures satisfactory liquidation of Kubota assets.
  • Ensures aged, off-inventory units are registered (R&I) in accordance with Kubota's aged-unit policies.
  • Prepares dealership risk assessments based on financial statement data, audit data and sales results.
  • Ensures timely collection of dealership financial information.
  • Provides dealer training on company inventory programs and inventory accounting issues.
  • Reviews historical and pro-forma financial analysis to determine dealership eligibility regarding potential new dealership points, addition of Kubota product lines, additional financial products, and other financial review as required.
  • Collects general dealership feedback from time-to-time regarding dealership financial-related training opportunities, Kubota inventory program effectiveness, etc.
  • Directs collection activities of Inventory Analyst(s).
  • Resolves issues and promotes positive relationships within the assigned territory.
  • Additional duties as assigned by management.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Mathematics or other related degree program preferred:
    • In lieu of a degree at least 7 years of related experience required.
    • With a degree at least 5 years of related experience required.

  • SKILLSET:
    • Expert dealership financial statement analytic and forensic skills.
    • Skilled in collections with full understanding of FCRA principles.
    • Strong inventory analysis and auditing skills
  • TECHNOLOGY: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, and Word
  • TRAVEL: Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to function in an office as well as a field environment. May be required to visit dealerships requiring walking, standing, climbing and sitting at a computer. May be required to work in all weather conditions.
