Responsible for leading the development, implementation of a comprehensive business continuity strategies and program. Ensures enterprise resilience and the ability to recover from disruptions that can materially impact to critical business functions and processes.

Responsible for leading the development, implementation of a comprehensive business continuity strategies and program. Ensures enterprise resilience and the ability to recover from disruptions that can materially impact to critical business functions and processes.
- Develop and implement strategies: Lead the creation and execution of business continuity strategies, plans that support organizational resilience to meet recovery objectives.
- Risk Assessment and Business impact analysis: Conduct and oversee risk assessments, business impact analyses to identify potential threats and their impact to business operations.
- Plan development and maintenance: Develop, maintain, and update business continuity plans ensuring they are current, relevant, and effective to support critical business functions.
- Crisis Management: Develop, maintain, and update organizational crisis management plans and coordinate response to actual disruptions, ensuring effective communication and recovery efforts
- Training and awareness: Design and deliver business continuity awareness training to educate workforce members on business continuity practices and their roles in the event of disruptions.
- Testing and Validation: Lead periodic testing and validation of business continuity plans to ensure they are operating effectively and make necessary adjustments based on outcome of the tests.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of business continuity activities and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Stay up to date with regulatory requirements to ensure compliance. Learn industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to disaster recovery and business continuity
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years' expertise in developing and implementing and executing business continuity and resiliency strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Proficient in conducting risk assessments and business impact analyses.
- Ability to identify potential threats that can impact business operations.
- Understanding of relevant regulations and standards in business continuity such as NIST SP 800-34, NYDFS, HIPAA
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, project management and the ability to assess risks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, convey technical concepts to non-technical personnel, and write comprehensive documentation.
- Proficiency in disaster recovery and business continuity industry standards and best practices
- Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Business Management, or related field
- Master Business Continuity Professional (MPCP)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or • Certified Disaster Recovery Engineer (CDRE)
