The Contracts and Negotiation Manager for Cytiva is primarily responsible for supporting the creation, negotiation, modification, and approval of commercial sales agreements that drive significant impact to Cytiva.
This position is part of the Commercial Contracts and CCAP team located in Marlborough, MA. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

The Contracts and Negotiation Manager for Cytiva is primarily responsible for supporting the creation, negotiation, modification, and approval of commercial sales agreements that drive significant impact to Cytiva.
This position is part of the Commercial Contracts and CCAP team located in Marlborough, MA. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you'll do:
- Draft, review, edit, and negotiate commercial customer agreements, such as (but not limited to): sales contracts, amendments, reseller agreements, pricing agreements, contract renewals, and customer requests for proposal, etc.
- Interpret internal or external business issues and recommend innovative solutions and best practices; assess and lead initiatives to improve contracting processes and tools
- Train and advise commercial teams on agreement structure, templates, risks, and alternatives; Provide training, mentorship, and 2nd-tier support to other contracts team members
- Ensure compliance to the contracts approval policy and other company policies; solicit buy-in from cross-functional stakeholders
- Work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
Who you are:
- Possess a law degree (Juris Doctorate or equivalent)
- Have 2+ years' experience with commercial contract review, redlining, and drafting, including local, regional, and global agreements
- Have 2+ years' experience with contract negotiations and external client engagement
- Demonstrable experience (i) using sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative contract solutions, and (ii) prioritizing competing demands from multiple sources in a fast-paced environment
- Possess advanced writing and communication skills with a meticulous attention to detail; English language fluency
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- The healthcare, pharmaceutical, and/or life sciences industry
- The use of Salesforce.com (SFDC) and/or an SFDC-based contract lifecycle management system
