Job Description:
The University of Florida, College of Dentistry is seeking a part-time Student Assistant to work in the Office of Academic Affairs. This position supports the administrative efforts of the Office of Academic Affairs, specifically, and the College of Dentistry as a whole by assisting with greeting visitors and processing various student requests in person and through Salesforce.
Responsibilities include:
Greeting in-person visitors as they come into the Office of Academic Affairs
Assisting with planned and unplanned leave requests submitted by students
Assisting with Continuing Education credits submitted by students
Assisting with general questions and inquiries in person and through Salesforce
Assisting with education verification requests from providers
Assisting with student swap requests
Other administrative duties as assigned
Expected Salary:
$13.00 per hour
Minimum Requirements:
This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus and will be employed through student Other Personnel Services (OPS) and must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average. Registered students are employed on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with PeopleSoft and UF policies and procedures.
