Multimedia Specialist

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Multimedia Specialist will be responsible for executing digital and video marketing campaigns as well as branded content (video and photography) to engage members, donors, and community partners. The Multimedia Specialist will focus on content production, coordination, and engagement to elevate the Girl Scouts’ iconic brand and create campaigns to drive desired customer behaviors and organization goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Produce photography, video, audio, and digital content for a variety of marketing needs, including advertisements, media releases, fundraising events, and social media efforts that align with GSSD messaging and drives brand awareness and engagement
Provide administrative and creative support for MarComm campaigns, events, and meetings with preparation and follow up
Responsible for maintaining, organizing, and tracking inventory of all GSSD digital photos and video content
Generate video and photo content for social media with an emphasis on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube
Support daily social media content on all GSSD channels, including posting, writing, and community management
Coordinate photo and video content for external stakeholders (donors, board members, volunteers) as needed, including managing all member generated content
Engage daily with GSSD members and community via social media, respond to general inquiries, and work with customer care team to ensure consistency in responses
Carry out additional assignments as required to meet department or organization goals and objectives
Understands the importance of Brand Guidelines and knows how to maintain a consistent brand across all platforms
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, graphic design, or related field preferred
2-3 years of professional working experience in digital marketing or related field
Must have outstanding communication, teamwork, collaboration, and project management skills
Photography and video editing experience are required
Knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and TikTok)
Creative mindset and a can-do attitude
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, AEM, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Belief in the mission and values of Girl Scouting; be willing to subscribe to the principles expressed in the Promise and Law.
Able to work occasional evenings and weekends
Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and access to reliable transportation. Ability to travel to council office locations, events and meetings, as required.

Pay range: $24 - 26.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
