The

Proposal Director Sr.

is responsible for leading the proposal management for multiple prime bids with contract value of $500M to upwards of a billion. Leads the proposal process by managing cross-functional resources to complete proposals.

How you will make an impact:

Involved in all aspects of proposal development with ultimate accountability for the process and final proposal.

Develops proposal management artifacts such as proposal outlines, compliance matrices, win themes, and proposal development schedules

Assembles, tasks, and directs internal and external subject matter experts.

Ensures quality, completeness and oversight of technical writing to ensure a compliant and winning proposal.

Develops and executes bid strategy with operations and business development teams.

Validates and tests the business solution proposed.

Reconciles the customer requirements against proposed staffing levels and solutions and identifies any gaps.

Directs all proposal and Q&A responses.

Subject matter expert for the activities of lower-level staff and contracted consultant staff performing related functions.

Develops processes and infrastructure to support submission of bids.

Develops win strategies and final proposal submission after reviews.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 12 years of related experience including in-depth knowledge of Federal Acquisition Process (FAP); or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Requires experience working with multiple Federal agencies.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experience:

MBA, preferred.

Knowledge of Federal procurement strongly preferred. Proven win rate with large complex bid responses including GWACs, BPAs, IDIQs, preferred.

APMP Foundation certification or equivalent professional certifications, preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $131,880 to $226,080.

Locations: California; Colorado; District of Columbia (Washington, DC); Maryland; Nevada; New York; Washington State.
